Open to candidates based in the West of England with the ability to drive to client sites across West and South West of England (Gloucester/ Swindon / Cornwall ).

Ideal start date is September 2024

We are now looking for an Education and Technology Trainer to join our world class company. Candidates must have a good understanding of an experienced IT Consultant and be someone who is competent working with clients, customers and colleagues of all levels of seniority.

Role fundamentals - What you'll do:

Training Delivery:

  • Design and Deliver training programmes – remotely and/or in person.
  • Identifying, creating, and curating training content, relevant to both our clients, and for staff within the business with a particular perspective and focus on, the use of technologies and solutions we provide and support within schools.

Learning Locker Training Platform:

  • Work as part of a team to maintain our e-learning platform – including updating content to reflect Government Education, and Technology advancement changes.
  • Source opportunities to develop more expansive future content and courses.
  • Create and edit training scripts and demonstration recordings.

Internal Support; using your knowledge and experience of the Education section:

  • Provide training for internal staff on education policy, trends, and procedures.
  • Offer support and advice to the Commercial and Procurement team to ensure the products and solutions we offer are fit for purpose, appropriate for use in an educational establishment and deliver on our company’s vision to helps schools to improve their outcomes.

Stay Updated:

  • Keep abreast of the latest trends, methodologies, and developments in the Education field, and incorporate relevant innovations into training programs

What you’ll need to succeed:

· A passion for education.

· Experience of planning and leading training sessions within the Education sector.

· Demonstrable knowledge or practical experience of digital transformation in the Education sector.

· Good knowledge of fundamental IT concepts and applications.

· Knowledge of current changes and developments in Education Technology.

· Experience of working with Microsoft, Google and Apple software, or a commitment to the pursuance of personal CPD requirements in these areas.

· Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

· Flexibility, willingness, and ability to travel independently and train educational staff across the geographical area covered by Computeam.

· Desirable but not essential:

- Experience of using observation to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment.

- Certificate in Education, or PGCE or Diploma in Education (QTS desirable

- Experience in offering information, advice and guidance within the Education Technology sector.
