The Ed-IT - INTO THE CLOUD

The Ed-IT is Computeam's quarterly business update for schools, clients and the EdTech Industry at large.

The year got off to a flying start with the much anticipated BETT Show with a particular focus on Cloud technologies and how these can beneficial in the education environment.

We were particularly excited to explore further how our valued partners Google, Acer, Promethean and Ruckus were championing and facilitating cloud technologies in the education sector.

Computeam’s focus at BETT 2019 was no different as we showcased our support models for schools looking to get ‘into the cloud’.

Over the past year, we have worked with our clients, partners and specialists to create a full, collaborative cloud experience from infrastructure to classroom delivery. We were proud to showcase how this can reap endless benefits in the education sector at BETT 2019 with our case study at Littletown Primary Academy.

A cloud approach can ensure reduced teacher workloads, increased student engagement and increased flexibility & future proofing with leasing options with Computeam.

For an effective cloud based establishment, fast and efficient WiFi is a must. All our work starts with a review of infrastructure and as proud Ruckus Cloud partners, our industry leading WiFi options can form the basis upon which the cloud technologies we champion can depend.

Managed Acer devices reduce maintenance costs of ageing devices and coupled with the Google For Education cloud platform, education establishments can operate in a flexible, server-less environment, from administration to the classroom.

This solution can even interact seamlessly with interactive panels such as Promethean ActivPanels to ensure a full education-focussed learning experience for all schools.

The latest issue of the Ed-IT, enclosed, dives deeper ‘into the cloud’ and the benefits you could experience with this approach.
