Commercial terms, at a glance
Contract terms
After an initial 12-month term, you can exit our agreements with 90 days' notice, for any reason, wherever third-party dependencies allow. We aim to keep clients through service quality, not contractual lock-in.
No usage caps
We do not apply arbitrary usage caps to our core support services. If demand rises, we discuss why and work with you to address the underlying cause.
Pricing
Project work is quoted at fixed fees, with no hidden charges, clear budget control and a fair allocation of responsibility.
Service clarity
Scope, responsibilities and response expectations are defined up front and reviewed at regular service reviews.
Computeam has supported schools and multi-academy trusts across the UK for over 25 years and is a Certified B Corp.
What are Computeam's contract terms?
We understand that education organisations need flexibility.
Budgets shift, structures change and trusts grow. Where third-party dependencies allow, our agreements are built to give you control: after the initial 12-month term, clients can exit with 90 days' notice, for any reason.
It’s a deliberate position we take. A partner that relies on contractual lock-in has less reason to keep improving. We would rather our clients stay because the service is delivering, and our long-term relationships across the sector suggest that approach works.
Does Computeam cap support usage?
No. We do not apply arbitrary usage caps to our core support services.
Support demand tells you something. If a school is raising more tickets than expected, the answer is rarely to ration the help desk; it is usually a sign that something beneath the surface needs fixing. So instead of caps, we encourage open engagement, address rising demand through conversation, and work with you to resolve the underlying issues.
How is Computeam's pricing structured?
We keep our commercial model clear and straightforward. That means transparent pricing with fixed fees for project work, no hidden charges, clear budget control and a fair allocation of responsibility between your organisation and Computeam.
Commercial terms should support the partnership, rather than sitting in tension with it. If something about a quote or an invoice is unclear, we would rather explain it properly than hide behind small print.
How the Partnership Works

Clear and consistent delivery
Clarity underpins strong partnerships. We define service scope, responsibilities and expectations clearly from the outset, including defined response expectations, agreed ways of working and regular service reviews. You know where you stand with Computeam, and so do we.
People first
We are a team of people who care deeply about education. Everything we do is driven by a simple goal: to improve outcomes for schools and MATs through technology. We work alongside your team, take time to understand your priorities, focus on outcomes and build relationships that last. Contracts are important, but building a relationship comes first.
A partner, for the long term
For over 25 years, we have supported schools and multi-academy trusts with strategic advice and day-to-day delivery. We take a long-term view: aligning technology to your priorities, giving honest advice even when it is not the easy answer, and supporting ongoing improvement well beyond the initial project.
Shared responsibility
Strong outcomes come from working together. We deliver reliable, secure services and proactive advice, and we ask our clients to engage with agreed processes, share their priorities and work with us on continuous improvement. When both sides hold up their end, the results show in classrooms.
Secure, compliant and accountable
Working in education brings important responsibilities. We align with UK data protection expectations, support the DfE's digital and technology standards, deliver secure services and maintain clear accountability for the work we do.
Continuous improvement
Technology and education are always evolving, and so are we. We review services regularly, identify improvements, and support transformation to help you get more value from technology over time.
Vendor Partners
Computeam select suppliers whose products or services align with our company mission to Improve Education Outcomes Through Technology.
