The Google for Education team is hosting an exciting event next month called The Anywhere School. It’s a free online event where thought leaders and changemakers from around the world will be sharing their perspectives on issues affecting education, including equity, student emotional and social well-being, hybrid and distance learning, and more.

When you register, you’ll get a virtual front-row seat for this event featuring 17 hours of around-the-clock content. Listen live or watch on your own schedule, with subtitles available in 11 languages.

Fireside chat with Sal Khan, founder of Khan Academy

Sit down with Sal Khan as he shares his thoughts on online learning. Khan is the founder of Khan Academy, a nonprofit organisation that provides free, online-learning tools used by more than 30 million kids, educators, and parents. For over a decade, Khan Academy has been building a platform so that students everywhere, from pre-K through college, can learn all the subjects they need—on their own time, unrestricted by place—and ultimately use what they’ve learned in the real world.

How to approach hybrid learning

Join Google Certified Innovator Emma Pass as she shares insights and practical tips on synchronous and asynchronous learning. Emma has  taught in the UK and the US, and currently teaches at Colorado’s PSD Global Academy, a K-12 school that has been using hybrid learning for the past three years.

Wellbeing perspectives: What we've learned

Hear from policy makers, educators and mental health experts on how to strengthen student wellbeing and connection during uncertain times. Learn strategies for helping teachers address wellbeing and remain aware of their students' social and emotional learning needs when they’re apart.

Education in a post-COVID 19 world: Perspectives from Colombia, Mexico, and El Salvador

Educational leaders in Mexico, El Salvador and Chile discuss how the current reality has helped them accelerate the design of distance learning spaces, leverage the use of technology for education, and promote and expand connectivity and access to education in vulnerable areas. Learn about strategies for expanding education in Latin America, as well as plans for education in a post-COVID 19 world.
